IV Sedation

Intravenous sedation delivering calming medication directly into the bloodstream, producing a deeply relaxed, drowsy "twilight" state; patients breathe on their own and can respond to instructions but remember little to nothing.

After a pre-op health review, a small IV line is placed and sedative medication titrated precisely to the patient's response; heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen are continuously monitored throughout procedure and recovery; patients go home same day with an escort.

Patients with dental anxiety/phobia, longer procedures (wisdom teeth, full-arch, multiple implants), strong gag reflexes, and anyone who prefers to "sleep through" surgery.

  • Deep relaxation with little to no memory of treatment
  • Precisely adjustable moment-to-moment — safer than fixed oral doses
  • Long/multiple procedures completed in one visit
  • Continuous professional monitoring.

Modern electronic monitoring (ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure) and titratable IV agents maintain the exact depth of sedation needed.
